Greetings,

My name is Michael McCloy. Though you already know that.

I stated out as a graphic designer and illustrator but I found that my skills where more leaning towards the digital spectrum of the world. I then decided to attend the Interactive Design program at Capilano College to hone my skills in the digital universe. After two years and a lot of studying and work I now know that I am better suited for the web design field.

My specialty is in web design; creating comps(mock ups of the pages using photoshop for those who don't know) and graphics for web sites. I use my artistic skills to create original and exciting designs that are also easy to use and get the point across to the user once they are implemented.

Web Design is not my only skill, I am skilled in the production of web site using HTML/CSS. I can produce web sites using adobe Dreamweaver as well as hand coding the pages. I can also take comps done by others and using those comps turn them into usable and accessible to almost everyone regardless of disabilities and limitations.

I have also produced several multimedia projects including, QuickTime VR projects, DVD authoring, motion graphics, video editing, and web video compression.

I use all of these skills to create the best projects I possible can with the most care taken to make the users and the clients happy.
